Stranger’s Hall

We took a step back in time and had a fantastic day when we visited Mayor Codd’s house and learned about Kett’s Rebellion and how it affected the different people living in Norwich in 1549. We learned to weave, how to set a banquet table, dressed in Tudor clothes and even met a rebel!

The Big Draw

Today was a very special day throughout the country. It was a celebration of Art and nature, called The Big Draw. Children throughout the school took part in many different workshops and incorporated drawing and Art into every subject throughout the day. The pictures show 5EB taking part. They created collages, painted landscapes, used different types of music to influence their drawings and created fluorescent sea creatures. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and produced some fantastic artwork.

Modroc Wells

5EB have been using their Science and Design knowledge and skills to design and create working wishing wells.

Today we had great fun creating the base for our wells, using Modroc. It was a bit messy, but the finished product will look amazing!
