Preparing ourselves for the next D&T project and The Big Draw, we have been experimenting with different shading techniques and looking at colour theory. The pictures show the combinations of colours used to create new colours. They also show the detailed sketching techniques which were then applied whilst sketching natural objects.
Interview With a Dragon
Have you ever wondered how the dragon felt when St. George attacked him? How did he feel? What was he really like?
Today, 5EB had the chance to ask these questions, when they were visited by the dragon himself!
Modroc Wells
5EB have been using their Science and Design knowledge and skills to design and create working wishing wells.
Today we had great fun creating the base for our wells, using Modroc. It was a bit messy, but the finished product will look amazing!
Peregrine Life Cycle
Although we are only just at the beginning of the 2016 season, happily watching four new arrivals, watch this great video, 2014 Highlights, brought to you by the Hawk and Owl Trust, that chronicles the events of 2014.
No…Quadruplets!
The fourth egg has hatched and we now have four beautifully fluffy, white chicks. The parents have been really busy this morning and if you watch the Live Feed 2016, with volume, you can hear the noisy youngsters as they jostle for space under mum (or dad) to keep warm.
Triplets!
The Hawk and Owl Trust site are continuously updating the status of the new Peregrine chicks.
Here are the latest photographs. Three of the four eggs have hatched into hungry, demanding chicks. The fourth egg is expected to hatch anytime now.
